I did leave it, in september. Finally couldn't take all the bullshit anymore, and I feel great. I have some ideia of a plan B but I'm chill for at least a year. Fuck it. Manage to save a good amount to last some good years in emergency funds and long term investiments.

In law it's different. First you need study skills, then you need to understand and use what you learned and learn some more. Later as you gain experience and climb higher, you can basically forget law and it will be all people skills.

Working in IT is just very ungrateful. When all the systems work you think "what are we paying these guys for?" and if a system doesn't work you ask "what are we paying these guys for?"

IT is a pretty broad term you could be a service technician or a network developer. A in house service technician can have a pretty relaxed job (can not must before someone is crying)

From what I have heard career in IT can be very different. You could be the server room wizard, whose presence is required 24/7 for a low salary. Or you can be some tech genius kid who is never seen in day light, and only has to work 3 hours per day but is making the same wage as the company director. Career in IT can be different from one extreme to another depending on how the company treats the employees. But the job market of IT sector gives workers the upper hand. So just leave a shitty company. They will not find a replacement worker easily.
